  Everything was so inviting when we first came into the condo. The TVs were set to "beachy" channels. Speaking of beach, it is much closer than the pictures show - just a half block away. Everything was clean. Great set-up with 3 bedrooms each having its own en suite. Everything you could want is furnished from bicycles to beach chairs, from lots of beach towels to games. You can tell that the management handling this property has been doing it for awhile!

  Our ‘cousin get-away” was perfect. We had lots of room to roam around in. Fortunately there were only 4 of us although the house could sleep 8 it could not seat 8. The living room could seat 5 comfortably and the dining room 6. There is no street parking but a public parking area was less than half a block away for the second car. The garage could park two if not filled with bikes, chairs and other beach toys. FYI the coffee maker is a “pod” so no “pots” of coffee. All of that said, it was a very good place to get-together. I would consider renting again. The street was quiet with little traffic but it was a wet and cold November week.

  We had a group of 8 guys for an NCAA basketball weekend. The house is in a great location, only a block from the beach. Although 4 beds are in one room, there was space for everyone everywhere else in the house. Bathrooms were clean and plentiful, although we could have done with a couple more rolls of TP to start us off. Kitchen was good and handled everything we needed. Good living room space where everyone could gather. Roof-top deck was great, especially in the morning to watch the sun come up and have a drink on later in the evening. Overall, a great place and a great experience. I should also mention that there were lots of good places to eat within walking distance. Parking could be an issue if you have more than 2 cars but 2 fit nicely in the garage.

  Great stay and wonderful location. This house was exactly as described in the description. The property managers were attentive and very friendly. My son attends Jacksonville University, so we frequent the area often and usually stay at hotels. This property however will be our new go to. It felt like home, and had plenty of amenities.
  Pros- Location, spacious, bikes available to use, deck on top with clear ocean view, very comfortable beds, bathrooms in each room, not cluttered with too many pics/accessories.
  Cons- Water didn't stay hot consistently which made for a cool to warm shower, stains on carpet need attending, limited parking (there is a lot located steps away from house, but during the busy weekend spaces were limited), living room couch had stains, outside fence doorknob needs replacing, and dryer could only be used during non sleeping times because of the loud sound. These are just minor issues that could be conveyed from cleaning staff to property managers/owners.
  Overall, everyone had a great experience and would definitely recommend this property to others. Can't wait to stay again!

  We all enjoyed our stay at the Pier View Lancelots Castles. Property was clean and well maintained. Manager was willing to meet us early to let us in. Was surprised the coffee pot was a Kehrig vs a Mr Coffee. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative. We were in Florida for the wedding of our granddaughter so didn't have a lot of extra time. Enjoyed walking on the beach which was only a block away. We had plenty of room for the 7 of us.   We came down from Baltimore for our best friends' son's wedding which was in Ponte Vedra.
  
  Arrived Wednesday and Charlie met us within 10 minutes. Gave us a tour of the property and we were settled in immediately. The view from the deck is beautiful. The house is spotless and everything we had hoped for. The only complaint we had was that it was hard parking in the garage as we had to go in the house and open the garage door. Other than that all was fantastic and we look forward to returning.

  We booked this property at the last minute to spend a few days with my daughter before moving her into UNF. We wanted to be at the beach but the options were limited. Pier View ended up being a great alternative. It is a 3 story duplex-so it would not be good for anyone that had difficulty with stairs. There is only one parking spot (garage which was nice) and our daughter's car was literally around the corner. It is a very easy short walk to the beach, around the corner and about a block. Although the rental had nice beach towels, boogie boards, and bikes...we never did locate any coolers which would have been nice for the beach. They could also use just a few more bath towels(but there is a w/d) and the bikes are pretty old...but biking is fun in this area and the thing to do. The garage is a little tricky to get in and out of as the street can be busy and sight is limited. The condo layout was spacious enough for our family of 6. We even had plenty of room to unload her college items and store them in the walk in closet in the first floor bedroom! As you enter through the garage there is one bed/bath room...up two flights to the kitchen and main living room with a half bath...up two more flights to a bed room with 2 twins and a bath...the w/d...and a master bed/bath. Most importantly on this floor is the roof patio access up more stairs! A very nice place first thing in the morning for coffee (limited but nice views of the ocean and sunrise) and a breezy evening spot with rope lighting. The condo(duplex) was in pretty good shape and pretty clean just a few items are getting ready for replacement...but nothing to complain about. The pocket door in the master bath is inoperable-but we did not feel like it needed to be fixed during our stay. It's nice that the place has a keyless entry (you will get a code upon arrival) and a garage remote. During our stay, it was nice and quiet and I think it's in a great location. This area is great.
