The Sea Turtle

Entering the building of Acquilus is like coming home to your own private beach front castle.

As you enter, the homes evident ocean view is right in front of you. A short distance in is the guest room with full size Murphy Bed with a TV. The guest room has a private bathroom with a bathtub/shower combination.

The kitchen has granite counter tops and excellent appliances making it a chef’s dream. Easy to operate machines and high efficiency cookware allow for an easy stay. The kitchen bar seats four comfortably, perfect for pre dinner entertaining or enjoying the view.

The six person dining table looks out over the ocean and over the living area. The living area has two couches making it a great place to watch the waves or the TV with DVD player. One couch converts for another full bed.

The home also has wireless internet so one can play and work from anywhere.

From the living area the master bedroom is a separate oasis from the rest of the home. The King size bed has a view out to the horizon and the ocean and is truly a great place to wake up. The master bathroom has a double vanity, private lavatory, walk in shower and a whirlpool tub. From the Master bedroom one can walk out the sliding glass doors on to the ocean front porch.

The porch is also accessible from the living area. This almost 400sq/ft space is ideal for grilling out or sitting at the table for four and watching the sun rise. This is what you come to our beach for; elegant comfort perfect for relaxing and making memories.

  This was a wonderful stay. The condo is magnificent. It's much larger than the pictures lead you to believe. Watching the sunrise in the morning from the balcony was truly a highlight.
  
  In addition, Jax Beach is SO MUCH LESS CROWDED than our typical Emerald Coast stays. We actually had our own space on the beach. And when beach time was over, there were so many good restaurants nearby.
  
  Our stay was such a pleasant surprise. The condo is great. The location was great. The stay was great.

  Wonderful condo right on the beach in Jacksonville Beach. Beautiful and perfectly furnished for a cozy stay at the beach. The location is great with restaurants near by, we took the ferry to go hiking near the Kingsley Plantation. Walking on the beach in the morning is always peaceful. We would definitely come back.

We were able to walk to dinner and enjoyed being right on the beach. While we were there, the shower in the master bathroom was not working. That was a bit inconvenient.   The location of the condo was perfect. The kids loved having access to beach at all times and parents loved having coffee on the balcony watching the sun come up. The condo itself, was very clean, well equipped, it even had a high chair and crib for out 9month old. The only negative thing we experienced was the guest bed was not comfortable, the mattress was the old spring mattress and uncomfortable but it didn’t ruin our vacation. The rental company was great to work with. We had a great family experience with great vacation accommodations.

We spent a lot of time at the pool which was usually empty or on the large balcony overlooking the beach. The kitchen was large and had very nice appliances. The bedrooms were large and very quiet when the door was closed. We had a great time and would definitely rent again. The only issue was the baby crib and swing that were pictured were not actually there so we had to make arrangements to rent these items at the last minute with a third party.

  We enjoyed our extended stay at Jax Beach. The condo had nice amenities which is always a plus. Bed was comfortable--not too hard or soft mattress. the sound of the waves at night put us to sleep. Very quiet building and we rarely saw anyone, Unfortunately it was rainy, cold and very windy the first couple weeks. Our only concern/hassle was the unloading and loading our vehicle because parking isn't allowed near the entrances.

  The "Sea Turtle" is an excellent vacation rental experience. All of the condo unit was well appointed, amenities, clean, and location ideal. We had outstanding service and a "personal touch" by agent Kevin. The only suggestions are to replace the bath towels and upgrade the TV's. We would stay again in the future.

  We enjoyed four nights in this clean and well-appointed condo on a high floor overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in Jacksonville Beach. We previously stayed in this unit for a week a couple of summers ago. Although it was January this time, the weather was warm enough to walk on the beach at the edge of the water. There are plenty of nearby restaurants, and it is always a treat to walk and do some people-watching on the fishing pier. The property manager is easy to work with. We were completely satisfied and will be returning again this summer.

  We had a very good experience renting the Sea Turtle. The unit was very well equipped and nicely furnished. The only issue we had was that there was significant work being done on the parking lot, one elevator and exterior of the building which caused some inconvenience.   We had a great time! The condo was so nice and clean! Two things that were minor inconveniences were the ice maker (doesn't make much ice) and the temperature of the pool for April- COLD! Wish it had been a heated pool. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again! Loved it! We were only there for 3 nights- not long enough but that's all we could do at that time. I also liked the fact that you could walk to a lot of restaurants.

  Fantastic, but the condo needed some maintenance. the bulbs in the entry hall were burnt out, the carpeting needed shampooing, and the stove & oven I found difficult to operate. All small things as far as I am concerned and I was to overlook them as the view was great, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable decorated.

  This condo is in a great location and well managed. Kevin, the property manager was wonderful to work with and acommodating. The views are spectacular from the living room, master bedroom and deck. My parents who are in their eighties found the bed quite comfortable and the unit accessible. They loved just sitting on the deck and watching the surfers and dolphins who made a daily visit! Aquilus I, is well managed and secure. I would definitely recommend this condo!

  We were on the l0th floor, condo large and comfortable, nicely decorated,great stainless steel kitchen, all the amenities. Beautiful beach. The Sea Turtle is near grocery stores, great shopping malls, and many lovely restaurants, some within walking distance. The only problems we encountered is that there is no parking at the front door which means you have to carry groceries, luggage etc. from your parking place to the condo entrance...with no luggage racks or grocery carts to help you.....very difficult....and annoying.   We had a wonderful stay at your condo. All of the people at Lancelot;s castles were ezxtremely helpful from the siging of the lease to checking out. Aggie met us at the condo and even helped us carry our things in. She is so cute. The only thing I would recommend is that you have some type of carts in the garage for people to use. It is extrememly difficult to get everything into the condo with out making several trips. We will definitely stay there again. Thanks for everything
